Dictate using the Speakeasy software

We have designed a software that allows you to dictate, or to play your recorded tapes, directly into your computer, then submit that dictated material for transcription via the Internet. You may also submit digital files that you have created using a digital recorder via this software. Speakeasy is not voice recognition software, it is simply another means by which you may transfer your spoken word to our typists for transcription. Simply dictate into your computer using any standard microphone or play your recorded tapes into the software and with a single mouse click, your dictation is automatically sent electronically, along with all account information, for transcription, without tying up your phone line.

You can also upload material which you have recorded on your dictation device using the Speakeasy software. To set up your computer to do this, you must use the proper cable.

To upload your recorded audio tapes to SpeakWrite for transcription, you need only a male to male audio cable and the device you used to create your dictation. Such a cable can be inexpensively purchased from virtually any electronics store, including Radio Shack. The 1' Shielded Stereo Audio Cable is part number 42-2497.
