History

Since its inception in 1997, SpeakWrite has recognized the importance of using the latest technology to produce a top quality efficient service, while at the same time, making it user friendly for our clients.  Our clients get the benefit of cutting edge technology but without the need to adjust their ways of doing business.

Simply dictate and compile your work as you normally would, using any of a number of available methods (telephone, dictation device or our Speakeasy software).  Then electronically submit your audio to us.  Your dictation is routed to one of our trained and qualified transcriptionists located across the United States and Canada.  The typist transcribes your work, it is proofread and you receive your completed document back to your email as a Microsoft Word or WordPerfect attachment (whichever you choose).  All in about 3 hours.

Complete Documentation

Once you receive your transcribed document, you can edit, print or change your document, just as though you typed it yourself.  Documents are stored in our system for two weeks, so should you lose your document transcript, we can resend it to you within minutes.  In addition, we have a number of features such as the ability to store and incorporate information from your address book, your form document templates and a personal word list, all of which can help ensure that you get your work back exactly as you want.

All work is charged at a simple flat rate with no account set up fees, no monthly charges, no minimums, no other costs of any kind.  Simply use us as much or as little as you choose; when you do use us, you are billed once a week for any charges.  And you can view your bill online at any time. 

SpeakWrite enables you to have a virtually unlimited staff, available to you at all times, but wholly pay-as-you-go and with no associated overhead costs.
