After the application process has been completed, you will first go through a short testing procedure to be certain you are sufficiently qualified and experienced to do the work required. This portion of the process is unpaid, but can generally be completed very quickly.
Upon successful completion of the testing procedure, you will be compensated on a pay-by-the-word basis. This pay rate of ½ cent per word, plus bonus pay, will generate $10 - $12 per hour for typical typists after a short period of working within our system. If your typing skills, speed and ability to turn around jobs efficiently and quickly are good, fast typists can earn as much as $15 per hour. Not having a high-speed Internet connection, an up-to-date computer, and/or the most current version of Windows may adversely impact your earnings.
Payment for all contract work can be made via check by mail, or direct deposit, twice a month. [NOTE: We do not currently offer direct deposit for typists residing in Canada.]
